Frame; Powdercoat vs. Por 15

I'm getting ready to pull the body off . I'd like to get some opinions as well as experiences on one or the other.
I'm not on an unlimited budget, or else sandblasting and powdercoat would be a "no brainer".
The car is a very rust-free New Mexico car, so heavy rust is not a concern.
Once it's completed I plan on entering it in a couple judged car shows and then driving the he!! out of it.

Another option is the black paint Tractor Supply sells, thin it with a little acetone and shoot it, very tough stuff..

On a budget also, wire wheeled...then I used Eastwoods rust dissolver...then rust converter.......then rustoleum rusty metal primer.....then Eastwoods 2k chasis paint.....looks good, but not all together yet.....hopefully durable ... I also used Eastwoods internal frame coating
Did it for about $500
Hope this helps?

I would check around on powder coating. The shop that did the wheels for my 4Runner said around $400 to blast and coat the frame.

I recently paid $500.00 to powder coat my 55 88 frame, chassis parts, and bumper brackets. Included pick up and delivery when finished (only took 4 days!)......

There's a guy of the FB Olds page said he paid 200 for his frame and 75 for a whole bunch of suspension and other stuff. I think I need to shop around some more.

Have you heard of Corroseal? You can get it only on Home Depot website or ebay. Its like POR-15 but it will not stain on your skin.
