69 Cutlass bolt size

Hi All,
There is a common bolt used in the radiator core support area. The hood latch, hood spring etc all use the same bolt. Trying to find the actual size of this item and whether it might be available in zinc coated vs the common black phosphate coating. Also if you know of any sources it would be helpful.

Thanks,Bob

They're 5/16x18, if I recall, and they were used on every GM car made for about 30 years, so they should be no problem to find. NAPA's probably got them, AMK definitely has them, if you've got a lot of money.

Octania - the bolts I've removed don't have the attached washer but I'm sure they are out there too....

Also check Autozone. They have a bolt/nut bin with plenty of selection. Either that or a local nut/bolt supply house. I've found that Cad looks good but isn't really worth the extra $$

If it's the one that occasionally has an anchor on the head, I got them from Fusicks. ILT also carries them.
