4 dr A-Body Frame 68-72 swap to a 2 dr

Hey Does any one know if the frame for an 4 door A-body 68-72 is the same for a 2 door? If not what would you have to do to make it work if at all possible? Would the body mounts be in the same place?

Thanks

the four door frame is four inches longer. If you shorten a four door frame by four inches between the mid point mount and the next rearward mount (by the lower control arm) you'll have a two door frame. ~BOB

I'm going to go look at the frame if it is what they say it is then might be worth it.
Thanks for the info Bob!

Where are you located?

2 door frames are not that hard to find

If you are considering shortening a 4 door frame then you MAW just repair the 2 door frame. Either way you should be a competent welder to tackle that project.
