Trim and moulding stud repair
We were taking the trim and moulding off Josh's 66 F85 the other day in preparation for paint and I accidentally broke one stud off. Can these be repaired, or are we just out of luck? This particular piece is the OLDSMOBILE lettering block along the bottom edge of the trunk. Two studs and I broke one. If they cannot be fixed, or if there is no way to reattach the molding, I guess I will need to buy another - anyone have one?
Also there is a narrow trim piece above that one that goes the width of the trunk - it looks like it has some kind of clips in addtion to some studs. How do we take this piece off without breaking anything?
Thanks.

If you don't wnt to buy a new emblem you could use some trim tape or trim adhesive to hold it on. Not sure about the clips on a 66 normally the trim will slide sideways to disengage the clips from the posts or you can use a trim tool to spring the clip.
