Steering box replacement
Steering box replacement
Hi all, I decided to finally replace the original steering box with a Lares unit. I'm hoping it will cure or at least improve the wandering and pulling.
It's been years since I've replaced one, and I don't remember how I kept the pitman arm from turning while torquing it down.
Any suggestions? I assume it's not a good idea to let it turn to the stop when torquing the nut down.
Thanks in advance!
