Drivers Door wont Open on 72 Cutlass

Drivers Door wont Open on 72 Cutlass

Anyone know how i can fix this or whats wrong? I press in the door handle and pull the **** from the inside and nothing.

To me it sounds like you need to pull the door panel and relube every moving mechanism in that door (hopefully you can get it open first!)
My door was almost that bad. A thorough lube helped a lot.

So you are saying the door won't open from the inside or the outside either way? I don't have an answer for that. But if you can get the door open the you solution is to remove the door panel and make your repairs as stated.

I always believed that stuff is "magic in a spray can"...
Glad it helped. You might want to really get in there and use a thicker oil and lithium grease. The original stuff has long since evaporated or petrified by now. The old grease in my doors and quarters more closely resembled chewing gum that I had to chisel out...
