Wonder what it will bring? Lots more photos than a typical Mecum. Interesting that the before photo of the front end doesn't have the turn signals moved inward.

What an amazing vehicle. Did not realize there are so few left. I figured about half were still around. But Hemmings pegs the number even lower than Mecum, at 16 known to exist.

Taking into consideration Mecum just sold a regular version for a very healthy 66k. I'm thinking the W30 will see 80k +. Its very nicely optioned for an original W30.
Look at the contrast from one interior to another, here below is possibly the 1st 1966 W30 ever built. I would think the Mecum W30s beautiful black interior is going to give a positive kick in the pants when the time comes.

Yes that's the picture. The statement on 442.com said he had another one at the time also.
Jim said he only had the 3 66 W30's at one time and even at that it was only for about 10 minutes. The cars in the pictures was # 15, # 29 & # 42 but he did own # 18 but not at the same time as these 3. The black Sports Coupe you mentioned was the track pack car that I had previously owned. I know it's hard to remember all of these cars after so many years..
Great info you all. My guess is that w30 will be in the low 6 figures at auction end but certainly could be wrong. If it dont hit those numbers then I doubt it hits reserve. Very special cars but little sales history to determine what it will bring..Mike, whats your guess?

I'm not smart enough to guess auction prices. They are going to need 2 or more bidders or a single bidder wanting it to meet reserve.
