Im going to watch the auction also, who knows he might get more than he's asking here.
definitely need stripes. I agree with you it would pop. I saw a yellow W 30 today somewhere and then I lost it. Someone was asking what it was worth anyway yeah sometimes those auctions go cheap too. Good luck. I just bought a 67 Barracuda with the 340 four Speed fastback.

This hits Mecum today - I wonder how much it wil go for considering the buyer has to pay a 10% fee... So the seller wanted 57K which means the buyer will need to spend over 60

Is that how it works or is the fee on top of the $59,400? I know I tried offering a little onder 55K and he wouldn't budge

The seller gets the final sale price minus the seller commision (usually 10%) and any auction fees. I lookind into selling a car at Mecum years ago and I think the saturday fee was around $1000. So, $54k - 10% = $48,600 - $1000 means the seller probably walked with around $47K. This does not include trasportation costs to get the car to the auction, or federal income tax due on the sale at the end of the year.

Auction ended at $54k. 10% buyer's fee made it $59,400, plus the other expenses that Loaded mentioned.

If didn't keep raising and lowering the price it would have sold here for more than that. I would have paid him 47K all day long

Conratulations on the sales - we exchanged message a few times. I couldn't get past 52K and you wouldn't budge from 56K. Glad it worked out for you. Did yo start restoration on the 69 HO you had
