Cutlass rear disc brake conversion

The aftermarket kits are fairly expensive, at least for the good ones.
If you're doing an "economy" coversion, you can use rear disc brake set ups from a number
of GM cars including Camaros, Firebirds and several late '80's and early '90's GM full size cars.
There probably others I don't know about.
I have some off a 20?? SS Camaro that I haven't installed on anything yet.
They look kinda small, but I'm sure they're better than a drum set up.

The cheapest is the S10 brake conversion if you want a parking brake.
The next cheapest is the LS1 F-body rear disc if you don't want a parking brake.
Here's the info on the swap. Firechicken lists all the parts.
The backing plates is the biggest concern for your specific rear end.
Obviously you have to make sure these fit the rims you have, but most guys I know upgrade their rims.

Try this place. Relatively cheap and he gives you a list of the NAPA parts that will work with the kit. I doubt you'll spend $300 on the whole thing. http://www.speedwaymotors.com/default.aspx might have a kit also but around $450

I want to see what kind of calipers he's using on these to see what size pistons they are.

All the stuff I've seen on ebay is low caliber quality stuff.
