Anyone know the cast number and stamped code on a master cylinder for a 68 442 with manual drum breaks ? W30 different?

I do not know off the top of my head the casting numbers.
The Drum brake code for 1968 is "CT". Actually "CT" was predominately used on all 1968-72 Drum brake cars, including W30.
By the way the Disc brake code for 1968 is "DW".

Thanks I appreciate it. I believe mine is not original as I thought, because it is lacking bleeders. Now I need to find an original this helps much thanks.

Well at this point it’s off and the number cast in it is 5452410 makes it correct for manual drum breaks but has the front pad marked “ HU” or “HO” any idea what this is for? Matt

Hey Matt, I do not know for sure what code "HU" and "HO" are for but they are not 1968-1972 Oldsmobile codes.
I gave rebuilt and core "CT" Drum brake Masters available though.
Thanks.

A core is $50.
The rebuilt ones, were rebuilt with stainless steel sleeves.
They were expensive, but will last the life of the car.
I would need $325 for a rebuilt one.
Thanks
