Tool to remove Parking brake cable

I am almost ready to lift the body off the frame but can’t figure out how to get the parking brake cable out and through the hole in the floor of the body. It has an anchor with multiple extensions that a simple pair of pliers can squeeze them together to allow the anchor to just push through. There must be a special tool to collapse all four extensions at the same time. Anyone know what it is called and where I can find it?

There is a tool, but for one time use you can improvise. Maybe use a small worm gear fuel clamp for example. I've done them like that in the boneyard.

There is a special tool, but I also don't know what it is called or where to find one. I used a small hose clamp to pinch all of the prongs to get them started thru the hole, then loosen the clamp and feed the rest of the way thru.

Yup, use a small hose clamp to squeeze the ears. When tightening the clamp leave enough of the ears uncovered to start them in the hole, put grease on the ears, pull the cable outward and through as you loosen the clamp.

Good luck!!!
