Brake line question

Okay, I am finally installing the complete rear end I got from monzaz. So, I am going to replace the brake lines while I am doing this. On top of my stock rear end the junction between left and right brake lines is bolted to the top of the pumpkin.

Unfortunately, the rear end I am installing does not have this feature (threaded hole) in order for me to do this.

So can I just leave the junction block loose on top of the pumpkin or should I come up with something else?

I believe the rear end was out of a Pontiac Lemans.

Thanks

Try finding an original bracket or fabricate one. I wouldn't leave that hanging like that. The constant flexing will crack that brake line eventually or cause it to wear through somewhere along the length of the lines going to each wheel attached to the axle tubes.

What Trip said. The bracket can be as simple as a bent piece of steel held by one of the bolts on the rear cover.

Copy that. Got a bracket and a new rear flex hose enroute.

Thanks
