I had an idea and wondered if anybody else has done this..I was thinking of using the self adjusting brake assemblies from a 62 that is in a junkyard near me and trying to adapt them on both '57 and '59 Oldsmobiles I have. Its kind of a pain to get on the ground every month and a half to adjust all 4 wheels X 2 cars. The brake assemblies look like they take identical brake shoes as well as the hardware. Stupid idea? Someone must of done this swap
