Help with Rear Drum Brake Self-Adjusters

Hi;

Does anyone have a picture or schematic of the rear drum assembly? I don't remember how the adjusters were secured/installed. After assembly, I found the adjusters to be too loose so I removed them.

Umm...you kinda need those. Now if you're talking about the parking brake bars between the shoes a little more than half way up then that's a different story.

Here are two pictures from the manual.

They have to go together EXACTLY like this.

The grooves on the ends of the adjusters go around the edges of the brake shoes.
The adjusters are different right to left.

They did not put any "extra" parts in the brakes.

Maybe you could tell us the year/model? The hardware has some differences over the years.

Thanks. Not the parking brake bars, but the adjuster to work the star wheel. The components look like the schematic provided by "MDchanic".
