Driver Side Door Will Not Open

Hello all,
I just purchased by 1968 Cutlass "S" yesterday and last night, after showing off to the neighbors, I locked it up and went to bed. This morning, even though the door is unlocked, the handle from the inside and outside will not open the door. Please advise on how to open this door as climbing through the passenger side kind of stinks.

Thanks,

To confirm, both the inside are outside handles dont work and youre sure its unlocking the cylinder? If so there must be a break in the linkage inside the door and the only way I would think to open it now is by removing the inner door panel. This could be a real PIA with the door closed and maybe one of the more experienced here will have a better solution but you have to engage that latch assembly somehow.

Assuming you can get in from the passenger side, pull up the interior handle fairly hard and simultaneously shoulder check the door frame. That "might" pop it open. Works on mine, but my outer handle works fine.

The latch mechanism inside the door can get sticky preventing the latch from releasing properly.
