One door opens another door closes (is stuck)
My driver's side door won't open.
I finally got access to my passenger door ( got the pile lumber out of the way).
I was able to open the window for the driver's side.
by reaching in I was able to pull the inside lever up and down a few times to get the door partially open.
I resisted my instinct to grab a pry bar and have at it.
Any tricks to get the door open?
I think my next steps might be.
1. sit in seat and give the old shoulder bump while lifting the handle.
2. the two footed slam from passenger seat with assistant handle lifter.
3. Wait till I have access and remove door panel and investigate latching mechanism.

Where do you think the problem is? Is the door sagging and hanging up on the latch? Do you think its something inside the door not fully functioning? I've had problems with the internal part before, I removed the door panel and was able to see and replace the damaged part.
I recently "unstuck" the door latch mechanism on my Jeep by removing the door panel and hosing down the linkage with spray penetrant. Simply cleaning off all the accumulated desert dust made a big difference in operation.
