So after getting the body work done after my mishap in Ocean City, I did something else stupid (long story, but I won't do it again).
Now I have this to fix (these pics are of the trim that runs along the top of the driver side door and the passenger side rear quarter). Is there any way to fix this without complete dissasembly? Because (unless I'm wrong) the trim is held on by screws that can only be taken out after the glass is removed, and I really don't wanna go down that road.
Any advice is appreciated.

You MIGHT be able to just remove the lower stop and drop the glass down far enough to access the screws. Of course, the back seat and interior side panels need to come out first. That trim is anodized, so don't try to sand it or polish it.

The whole point of only removing the lower stop is that it allows the glass to be cranked down far enough to provide access to the screws without having to remove the glass.

What is it with you? First you damage the door on one side at a parade or something, and now you've damaged the window trim. What the @Q$% is going on? Don't come anywhere near my car!

I worked my *** off to save up for a classic car and I've spent some money fixing up my Cutlass. Don't think for one second I'm some dumb *** novice.
I was upset when I dented the rear quarter and I'm upset about this. I'm 54 years old and don't need these kind of comments, so please keep them to yourself.

Joe, refresh my memory if you could. On the rear quarter glass, can I just remove the stop, or does the whole regulator have to come apart? Also, I haven't been into the front window assembly, so would I just be able to remove the stops on the driver door glass as well?

My apologies....it's just that I'm frustrated about what happened and I'm the type of guy who is impatient and wants to have it fixed asap. Also with the other things I want to work on, this is NOT what I needed.
Pull strap will come off w the panel, once the door n window handles and three screws on the arm rest are removed the panel needs to be lifted up to remove.
my cars paint is a 20yo backyard job fine from 20' but that's it. I've resisted painting it despite plenty of ribbing from family and friends, because when parked the car is in my garage w my kids toys ( bikes scooters etc) and I know that either myself or another family member will knock or drop something into it, plus I don't mind parking at Walmart or wherever because I don't have to fear the damage that seems to come w parking in a public lot.
in short don't get to worked up about minor dings etc as they are bound to happen w any vehicle that's driven and enjoyed
