71 442 back glass install

i have both front and rear glass out. i see there are two rubber tipped rests for the front window. but on the back glass no such thing. unless its the 5 little brackets at trunk opening area (think that area is called the filler panel) with tabs that stick up and holes for trim screws. or are those tabs to catch the filler panel trim?
thanks, neal

The glass aligns against them. I don't think the blocks are required since there is little vertical force. If you are using polyurethane you will need to come up with a system to hold the corners down. The window opening iss curved but my glass wasn't so it kinda has to bend across the opening and you'll need something to hold it down. I suggest some dry runs. Most glass shops will pre-apply a black trim/prep paint around the edge of the glass cause the poly smears and looks back. It can be done without the trim but it takes careful placement and alignment. You also want the glass to sit at the right depth for your stainless to line up nice. Not an easy job, if you can find a glass shop experienced with the old cars I'd take it in. The bitumen seal might alleviate all these issues.

I trimmed the plastic welding with a laminate trimmer to level
