I'm having alot of trouble with the chrome that mounts along the edge of the grille... A couple of the bent tabs snapped when I removed them from my old Gilles.. I guess I'm going to have to fabricate some sort of fastener, or glue the damn things on there...

Awesome looking job Tony!!

I'm thinking of painting my grills black and leaving 'Oldsmobile' chrome, like this pic:

Any advice on what type of black paint to use?

That black on the grills actually works nicely. The 72 HO grills and tail lights were also done in black.
