Filler or seam sealer here?

See photo. This is the area where the A pillar and dash join. After applying seam sealer, I am wondering if I need to use some short strand here?

Seam sealer was OEM in that location. If you are asking about factory application

Will this show? And is it a welded/spot welded seam.

It is a welded seam. After paint, A combination of the dash pad and pillar cover and from the outside the lower windshield trim will cover it

Not sure if you want to put filler over the seam sealer (a BIG no no), or fill in the gap? Either one is a no. You don't put any filler over something flexible like seam sealer, and you don't use it to fill gaps. The seam sealer by itself will work fine. Seams like that tend to move a bit , so something flexible is best.

Wasn't going to cover it with filler. After seam sealing it, I wasn't sure if there was filler there originally. If it needed filler, I was going to remove the sealer. Just could not recall what was originally there.
