Vinyl Halo Top - Small Bubble

Hi,
I noticed a small dollar coin sized bubble in my vinyl on my ‘70 Supreme hardtop. When pressed there is no outwardly visible signs of rust but who knows. It’s solid underneath the bubble and no play in the metal. It’s on the drivers side almost centered of the side roof panel, about 3-4 inches above where the ‘CS’ emblem is. Assuming rust isn’t the issue, is there a good fix for this? I’ve read everything from remove it, to heat it, glue in a syringe, etc. Has anyone else successfully addressed this?

The roof seal has lost its bond due to surface rust. It needs to be looked at.

Well that brings up part 2 question...wonder what’s involved in replacing the vinyl top and using something like POR-15 prior to putting the new top.

Nothing other than a few hundred dollars won't cure.

Please no Junk 15 You will have to remove the vinyl top and see what you have from there. Let us know from there. Could be easy as sand ,epoxy primer and Paint
