After market 69 deck lid?

Does anyone know if someone makes a 69 442 deck lid yet? Or is anyone in the process of making one. I see you can get a 68 and 70-72. Thanks Brian

I know about the repop 70-72's. (DynaCorn, maybe ???)

Never heard of any '68 or '69's in steel.

Where did you find a repop '68 ????!!!!

That's awesome that they are reproing those. I didn't do a search for a hardtop one but you realize the one you posted is for a convertible & 4 door, right?

Holy moly.... NOW they start repop'ing these....after I spent so much time finding a good one. OEMs in good shape are pretty hard to find....

Also, that eBay ad says the difference 'tween the hardtop & vert/4 door lids is the 'rounded corners'. There's more to it than that. The hardtop lid is ~ 2" wider at the back/bottom IIRC...

Wonder how the fit is on these 'Golden Star' repops..??

Found a visual for the hardtop / 'vert size difference....

Note the lid/qtr gap is inboard of the edges of the tail light trim ring on the 'vert...

Sorry I kinda hijacked your thread ......I just got too excited to see a '68....

For '69 repop'd deck lids, I know of none.....But you seem to be better at finding these!

Just for ref: The '68 & '69 are very similar. The only difference is the tail light cut outs (both skin & underside bracing) on the '69. I've heard of people using '69s on '68s by just filling in the cut outs, but have never seen one like this....

Maybe since they now have the '68... they'll mod their process a bit & start stamping '69s....

I have 3 69 lids in Austin Tx, two are real clean rustfree from 69 Cutlass 2dr hdtp so will have holes for diecast molding.
Other lid is off of a 69 f85 2 drpost rustfree but has damage where lock was pried out but no molding holes.
One clean rustfree 69 Cutlass 4dr aka convert lid, will have molding holes.

Sell or trade for clean 66-67 Cutlass trunk lids. Bonus paid for an original paint Provincial White C 66-67 Cutlass, f85 Deluxe or 442 and original paint Sierra Mist T 66 Cutlass f85 Deluxe or 442 lids.
Close to Austin.
Henry

Well i am in the northeast, but would consider paying shipping cost if deck lid is real nice. Not to keen on not seeing it first though, got suckered on a lid from texas car that was supposed to be nice and was worse than my original. Let me know what your price would be to 17022. Thanks Brian
