69 s convert. Quarter removal
69 s convert. Quarter removal
Hey guys just wondering for those who were brazin enough to do their own quarters, what did you cut them off with? or should i ask what is the best?
cutoff disc? air shear? air saw?

I used an air chissel with a panel cutting bit to do the rough cutting (works very quickly) and then used a cut-off wheel to do the fine tuning. So if you have a cut-off wheel, that should work for you.
For trunk floors and such, I used an air nibbler that takes out crescent moon shaped chunks - very fast but works on long straight cuts. I still needed the cutoff wheel to do the bends, edges, corners, etc.
For my quarters, I actually hung new full quarters so I used a Blair spotweld drill and cut out all the old spot welds and pulled it off that way.
