72 supreme- Portion of trunk weatherstrip channel from quarter cap to quarter cap.

72 supreme. i have some rust along my trunk area from where my exhaust pipes were cut too short and the acid ate away some of the trunk weatherstrip channel, and some behind the bumper. This would include the area where the trunk latch is. It is also a little dented so i don't know what the true shape is and it does not seal properly. Looking for someone who might have this area clean and straight. ALSO LOOKING FOR A CLEAN DECK FILLER PANEL. ANYONE HAVE BOTH FOR A PACKAGE DEAL?
Thanks, chris

Chris, post a picture of that area on your car. When I see what you've got I'll go get a pic of my car. It's trunk is just about perfect. Just need to know where you want the picture taken from.

I know it's not a repro part. If you need to weld in replacement parts, get ahold of
Eric Jensen (jensenracing77)
Scott Winn (oldspackrat)
Brian Trick (507OLDS)

They are reasonably close (Indiana and Pennsylvania). Chances are that Eric or Scott will have the part you need. They dismantle a lot of these cars. Just specify CS. Donor can come from 70 -72, they're all the same.

I have one already cut off the car. It's only the section above the frame brace, to include the latch. Can provide pics later this afternoon.

Pic of my bad area

Here is my rusted area. Basically i need from where the weatherstrip channel runs along the rearmost section of the trunk lid, and a few inches down to the lip that projects out horizontally. You can see where the rust is in this pic- thats what i need. Please pm me with a price, or email me at croth1972@gmail.com
Thanks!
Chris

Retro, either try locking the ipad (the small button by the volume control, or walk around to the other side of the table lol!

Chris,
Here's all I can do to help others who are checking this out. BTW, I think (but not 100% sure) that area of the trunk is identical on ALL 70-72 Cutlass models.
