Unhappy 1956 Rocket 88 - Hood Cowl Seal Studs??

Hi Folks

Any idea how to safely remove the Hood Cowl Seal fixing studs on my 1956 Oldsmobile Rocket 88? Also are the replacement studs push fit?

Do I prise them off with a screw driver or should I drill them out?

I've seen some replacement studs available from FusickAutos, to go along with the new seal.

My original seal is perished and needs replacing...

Thanks
Mike

Go to any local auto parts store and go to the Help section and get you one of those tools for pulling trim panels off. I had a new one of these on my 54 but it made the hood too high on the back. I wound up using black self adhesive weatherstrip from Home Depot.

Ok I'll have a go with a trim removal tool, but going to try and keep the authenticity and replace the rubber with a report item... Thanks
