I'm building a custom dash to replace the original. I drilled out the spot welds that held the original in an effort to preserve it. However, I need to take the VIN from it and weld it back in the original spot. I will then cut a reveal hole in my new dash so it is visible and fully intact underneath. I am adding a piece I made to attach the dash along and under the windshield with a five or six screws and it will bold on at the A-pillar up top and below.

Interesting concept, looks like an older Corvette adaptation.
