ST 72 = style/model year = 1972
34267: 3 = GM division = Oldsmobile; 42 = model series = Cutlass Supreme; 67 = body type = convertible
LAN = assembly plant = Lansing MI
238806 BDY = Fisher body number (has no relationship to the VIN)
TR 977 = interior color = white
14 A PNT = lower body color (14 = silver pewter) and convertible top color (A = white)
090: this is usually where the time build code goes and it is two numbers followed by a letter. I suspect what you really have is "09C" or "09D". That means your car was built in September (09), third or fourth week of that month (C or D, respectively), 1971
