convert motor/cylinders

finally getting tired of manually raising top of 69 convert and want to get system working again. guy i bought it from said he disconnected system due to leak, but upon inspection last week, its disconnected and pump is completely removed.
a few questions, anybody know anybody that sells rebuilt pumps including resoivoir (sp?) 3 hole design? Also, are hydraulic top cylinders rebuildable. I'm not sure of their condition, but thought might be good idea to get them serviced if possible. last question, what are procedures for filling/bleeding system

thanks for help, eric

Hey Eric,
I don't know if the 69 top cylinders are the same design as the 66 cylinders, but mine could not be rebuilt, because it's pressed together!
There are special tools to fill/bleed the system, or you just follow the instruction written in the description of that item here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/140767568648...WAX:IT&vxp=mtr
As for the pump, check fusicks, ebay, opgi, the should have one for you!

I have a used original pump from a 69 442 and it has the 3 mounting points. The motor runs great although I have not tested the pump action. Very clean so I would think it would work just fine. Let me know if you are interested. $75 plus the shipping.

Oh, cylinders can't be serviced and hoses should be changed too.
