67 400 in a 68 442
Wondering if anyone can provide any unfo regarding putting a 67 400 engine in 68 442. Will I have any issues with things hooking correctly? Pulleys, 4 speed linkage, transmission, drive shaft, water pump, alternater. I would be wanting to use all of 68 stuff on the 67 block actually. I think the crankshaft to flywheel pattern is different...anytthing else? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Do you have an E-block already on hand, or are you specifically looking to install one? Because all things being equal, the obvious choice would be a 455. Same block, more displacement, longer stroke = more torque ...?
