Power Steering bracket for Edelbrock heads and tall valve covers
Mocking up brackets today on a 455 rebuild. I could probably get away with the stock alternator brackets but the stock power steering are a ‘no-go’. Anyone have a part number of the low mount brackets and pump I’m going to have to change to? Thanks in advance.
Original power steering pump and brackets from a 1967 CS.
Does not fit with tall valve covers.
Tight but should work.

That will work. You will need the two stud-bolts for the front cover and the two spacers that go between the bracket and the block. Inline, OPGI, and others sell a kit with all that mounting hardware if you prefer.

That is correct. The 64-67 frames are about 1.5" narrower at the crossmember than the 68-72 frames. That's why the early cars used the high-mount PS pump and also why it's tough to find correct headers for the early cars.
