From experience I wold start with the rockers and bridges. The factory bridges are one piece aluminum and do break from time to time and they can also wear causing slop in the valve train that can't be adjusted out.
You could need a cam and lifters, but I wouldn't start there on a 47 year old engine.

Have you pulled the intake and inspected the lifters and cam?

Hard to tell from that picture. They don't look bad enough to wear a cam out. You might get away with just replacing the lifters and worn rockers and pivots.

If your set on a cam change, you should get a cam kit, which will have the lifters and the correct springs for the cam. you can change the springs with the heads still on the engine. You will need valve stem seals, a timing chain set, a timing chain gasket set, an intake gasket set.
While your at it, a new intake manifold would be good, and I say, Comp cams roller tip rocker kit. That gives you adjustable rockers.

Stick the Toronado 400 hp cam in it. Obviously it is mild enough to cope with accessories and automatic trans. Factory cams have the proper base circle to make sure there is no slop in the valvetrain. If you want more the Engle 18/20 which is like 215/225 on a 112 has a decent low end and good top end power too.

I had that exact cam in my 350, unfortunately it's noisy too. That's what pushed me to educate myself on cams and do my own lobe combinations.

Engle

Are Engle brand cams even sold anymore? Mondello Performance does sell their own brand with many of the old Engle specs.
