Valve Cover Spacers

All,
got some info from Joe P. but looking for some 3/8 inch valve cover spacers. They seem to be kinda expensive. I know I can double gasket but seems like they might be more likely to leak.
I have a 11 inch booster M/T Valve covers.
HS rockers with short polys.
will they fit with the spacers W/ The 11 booster. ?

I had that combination for a while, it clears the booster.

Check Ebay for the spacers, or

Rocket Racing 3/8 $119
Ram Air Restorations $109

I use to double gasket the valve covers, it seems the gaskets eventually crush down to the point they don’t provide the clearance needed anymore, or started to seep oil. I put spacers on probably 10 years ago, I haven’t touched them since.

Gasket, spacer, another gasket, then the valve cover.

I bought some 1/4x18 (1 1/4 long I think?) studs with Allen socket holes, screwed those into the heads, and used flange nuts with knurled heads. The studs make it easy to keep everything lined up during assembly, the knurled flange nuts make sure the nuts don’t come loose.

I silicone the spacer to the valve cover, then just use a gasket normally.
Ram Air is good guys, ship quick.
Rocket Racing is awesome, but getting them to process and ship sometimes happens in a day, sometimes in .... a lot more.
