Hey guys trying to find out what year 455 this is. I know its a 68-72 block by the number below the intake but i'm looking at the block serial number on the front little square. Auction is tonight so any help is appreciated. It looks like 32X13372

What 455

455 from a 1972 B or C body big car built at Kansas City.

Technically, "X" is the Fairfax, KS assembly plant, but yes, this is a 1972 block from a full size car.

Thanks guys. bought it last night for $475 at a auction. It was 100% complete and they even had it rigged up to show it ran. Didn't think that was bad. It has 71 heads on it. Thanks for the replys

Are you sure they are 71 heads? 71 used G and 72 used GA.

I couldn't quickly find a picture of GA heads but here is one of 7A heads and you can see the A is small and away from the G, so you may have missed it?

Something like this...

FYI both the G and GA heads use the same casting number above the center two exhaust ports - 409100
