Newbie from Ohio engine id

I'm not knowledgeable on Oldsmobile motors and have a 455 that I would like to know more about. Specifically what it came out of.. what info is needed and where on the motor is it located would be very helpful. This Motor is very complete and I believe it's all original. I've had it for close to 25 years.. any help is greatly appreciated!

The heads and VIN pad show it is a 1972 engine from the Lansing, MI facility.

Thanks for the help Fun71. I found a site that listed the heads were used in W30's only. Any way to verify that?

Ga heads were used across the board in '72. Some had the big valves(W30s & man. trans 442s, maybe Toros but I think they didn't get the large valves in '72) the rest had the smaller valves. I'm not positive but that partial vin (547326) on your block probably makes it a big car motor( small valve heads). Still a good engine for a starting point.

32M547326
3 = OLDSMOBILE
2 = 1972
M = Lansing, MI assembly plant
547326 = VIN sequence number
400,000 & 500,000 VIN sequences for '72 LANSING were full size cars 88/98 (non-Toronado)
