Actually I think it said $2247.00, but for around $2500.00 you can get an Accel or Holley TBI that, although won't "tune itself", still offers a whole bunch more tuneability and features. The additional spark control alone is well worth the $250.00, trust me. And as with all EFI's you still need an ignition box and/or electronic distributor with some sort of module so the ECM can get a clear and precise igintion signal. They didn't tell you that either did they?

Good find mugzilla!!

cutlassefi - would the pump and regulator be in addition to the $2500 of the Accell and Holley kits? - excactly what Accel kit would you recommend for my Nova? - it does not have AC - also, my Cutlass is 550+ hp - what EFI kit would work on that?

Comes with wideband, ECM , throttle body with injectors, regulator, pump, harness, sensors etc., even an air cleaner.
Kit number is 77135W, 750cfm with all of the above.

I'm guessing you're still talking about your Big Block Cutlass? Throttle body or multiport? With the Accel you can get the TBI kit and then use the same ECM to control your BBO later, either in batch fire or sequential, (and again I don't recommend anybody's TBI for anything making that much hp). About a 30 second program change. Or the ECM, harness, Sensors and wideband would run about $1800.00. From there it's just if you want to go TBI or multiport.

I think Mark will agree that whatever system you choose, get something with rails & injectors for each cylinder.I don't think you are accoplishing much with 4 injectors built into a throttle body.
BTW Mark, how tall is one of the Accel style throttle bodies?I know my FAST T-body is almost half the height of a Holley,so it gave me the hood clearance I needed with my Victor.

Hey Brian,

The new ones are only about 2 inches high. Plus they flow a bit more air cuz they're so short. A win win.
