Need info on reusing engine bolts

I recently got my 455 heads back from the shop. I didn’t have them install the rockers so now I am ready to put those on. I am planning to use the factory rockers and arms and bolts if possible.

Have you guys ever reused the factory rocker arm bolts? I have been told that it should be OK but they should be checked for stretching and warpage. What is the method of checking used bolts that I should be using?

I should also mention that the heads have higher strength valve springs.

thanks for the advice.

Those are not high stress item to worry about bolts. If the threads are good, I have no problem reusing them. Never had a problem using the old ones.

I read that the bolts should be torqued to 25 lbs and no oil should be used. Is that correct?
