intake manifold question

Hi, Looking to put some work in to the 455 and am looking at bolt-ons now. What is the best intake manifold I can get on the block that will allow a Holley 650 or 750 to sit under the existing hood?
Thanks guys,
Rich

Mondello has a few options even upto the Holley 850. Need some advice here. Looking to create a street cruiser that I would be happy to take on a drag from the lights if I had to.

Your manifold will need to be matched to your engine. What performance mods have you done? What is your intended RPM range? What cam, pistons, heads are you using. That kinda stuff. The manifold doesn't make the engine breathe, it lets the engine breathe. Like you pointed out, there are lots of options to choose from and every one of them will shine with the right combination of parts. If you are keeping the internals factory low compression you might even be better off with the factory intake. Probably not, but you won't gain much if you stick a high-rise, single plane, 1000CFM capable manifold in it either. Whatcha runnin'? Start from there!
