Edelbrock O4B Intake Manifold Question

I just bought a NOS Edelbrock O4B intake manifold for my '72 455. I remember reading that the threaded hole on the passenger side for the AC bracket does not properly line up. Can anyone confirm if this is true? If so, any experience with fabrication? Thank you, Bob

On my O4B intake, I had no problem with the A/C bracket, lining up, on the other hand, most Torkers require modifying the bracket to fit.

Glad you brought that up, I had to "clearance" the back of the intake runner to clear my MSD ready to Run distributor, which is just slightly thicker at the base than a stock Olds distributor. My advice would be to dry fit everything prior to getting out the rtv..

Thanks for the responses. I am currently running a Pertronix set-up, so HEI is not a concern. I was just hoping not to have to deal with A/C bracket issues.
