How do I know if cam is stock?

How do I know if cam is stock?
Looked at my cam their is a number 39 stamp - it is a 71 455 engine. Is this a stock cam?

The front end of stock cams (visible when changing the timing gear) has no stamped numbers, just some chamfers on the edges which encode the cam's ID.
