Question Holley carb question

I have a 750 double pumper with mechanical secondaries and 4 corner adjustment. Carb is brand new and bolted on out of the box. My problem is idle. It is fine until engine reaches 190 degrees and then idle go up considerably. There is also the smell of fuel after engine is turned off. Any thoughts?

Did you set the idle speed and idle mixture screws properly?

I would be pretty upset if I bought an aftermarket carburetor that required extensive adjustment. Hopefully you get it figured out easily. Keep us posted.

I'm going to adjust on it tomorrow. I'll let you know. Thanks for the help.
