Which Headers to buy?

Guys, Looking for suggestions on a set of headers for my 1970 442.
455 rocket with power steering and power brakes.
Prefer one with no clearance issues, but may be impossible to find...
Any suggestions would be great.

I think no matter what you go with, there will be some issues. I had problems with Doug's and ARH. Tried a set of 8 year old Hooker headers and they fit like a glove. Tried a new set, same size, and had issues with clearance. Seems like everybody has problems with consistency and quality control. I ended up cutting the ARH header and re-welding it to make it fit. Good luck.

A year ago I installed Hooker 3902-1HKR Headers in my '72 cutlass w/455, PS, PB.
Had to use a mini starter (good move anyway) and move the brake line distribution block from the inside of the frame to the top of the frame.
Temporarily Lifting motor on the drivers side an inch or 2 helps as well.

I have used Hooker for my 67 455 and the 64 F-85 pro-touring build with a 67 400E. Making sure I had the correct motor mounts, I did not have to ding ( massage the headers) or move anything. On the 67-455 I have a stock GM 4 field starter and can barely get a piece of paper between a header tube and the starter-I would have too raise the left side of the engine up an inch or two, unbolt the header to service the starter if it failed. The 64 I have a Power Master mini-slides in and out. In stock form your brake lines are routed differently than the early A-bodys.

71 442 with ps and pb. I used hooker competition headers 1 3/4" tube (can't recall part number off hand) I went with these because I had heard they fit without any bending or cutting and I could use the factory starter. Well I could use the factory starter. Had to move the combination valve ( kinda expected to do that). And ding the heck out of the passenger side header as it was tagging the upper control arm bolt. Other than that, fit well.
