A little help would be appreciated. I dont have at hand, and cant get to my hands to easily a set of BB heads/ aluminium heads.
Tried to google with zero success with various searches.
What are the external port entry ( intake side) dimensions on BB heads, L x H?

Also a little extra question. How is intake port located on BB head versus SB head, does it floor sit higher, or is the roof higher?

The roof is higher. I know this because a factory SBO intake won't cover the top of the port on the head.
