Ive found a set of B heads in my dads garage that came off the same car he pull his tri-carb intake from. Head with id has a V then a sequential number. The other head has a stamping as well. Can anyone tell me what it might have been originally off of? BW5264 is stamped in the other head same location as the V109724 thx

The V shows that head came on a 442 application, the B heads were 1966. I don't know what the other head stamp means. I'm used to seeing a stamp on only one head, so the other may have come off a different car? The V code head should have 2.07 intake valves, if you have a micrometer can you check to see if both heads have the same sized intake valves?

So... what happened to the car? Maybe I missed another post you made but the L69 option was only available on 1966 442's.

Thanks for responding, the 66 442 was totaled about 20 years ago and my dad bought the car for the intake soon after. These heads have been untouched since then. The intake is on my dads 67 442.

 

Both are latge valve heads.
