455 intake to cylinder head clearences

I am installing used edelbrock heads , they have been milled to true them, on a decked 455, and using a 2151 that has been machined true to correct a bad angle. Doing a mock up of these used parts. With used head gaskets, heads just snugged in place intake has .037 clearance on each side, between the head. The recommended Edelbrock intake gasket is .063 thick. So the crush on torqueing the manifold should be .063-.037 = .026. So the question is "is this enough compression of the intake gasket to seal properly" Or am I just being obsessive.
