Gas filter inside carb plus a large inline gas filter just before the carb

Gas filter inside carb plus a large inline gas filter just before the carb...............................Could that cause overheating, on the highway??

I used to run that setup on a 71 GMC for years. Never a problem.

It will not cause overheating, however you don't need both.

I replaced radiator, water pump, head gasket, heads, head bolts, still not ready to fire it up ..................hoping I solved high speed overheating and coolant exhaust contamination.
