fuel pump

Are there mechanical fuel pumps available that deliver more than the stock 40 gph? Reading specs on fuel pumps state 40 gph free flowing. Bends drop that output, plus fuel filters drop it more to around 30-35 gph or less.. Looking for 80 gph free flowing.
If motor is modified to around 425-450hp then the stock pump is over taxed and can't keep the bowls full? The 67 442 uses a three line pump (in, out, fuel return). Would like to keep stock look (stock hard line)but more gph. Believe my Qjet is experiencing fuel starvation @4800 as TH400 switch pitch is in second. Just as she's pulling hard.
If there are only high volume two line pumps that produce more gph do I just cap off the fuel return line? Thanks.

George, in south Alabama.

Did check search. Found this: https://classicoldsmobile.com/forums...gh-volume.html

Was hoping something came along since then.

CopperCultass turned me on to this one. I'm early in my build so can't attest to fitment or anything but thought I would pass it on.

It looks like the Robbmc and the Rocket Racing pumps are the same. Even looks like they used the exact same picture and description in their adds. The Robbmc one is $50 cheaper.

fuel pump

Found this one on ebay. Even though it says 140 gph, it flows 80gph @6psi. Even has a return like my stock pump.

Check out post #128 and #135 on my current build thread:

The eBay pump isn't a Holley but I wouldn't trust it.
