CDI with HEI install

Accel 300+ install

Hi to everyone,i ordered an accel 300+ box wich also include the 375+ box,now my question is should i take the module out of my hei when istalling the cdi unit and lock the dist.? what about spark plug gap?

PM this guy. I believe he has experience with these units. I don't. He's on the forum quite often

Well,i know him because he built my motor i just feel a little uncomfortable asking him questions all the time busting his n**s
thats why i put it up here to see if someone use this box maybe.

Panos, you should have just emailed me! I believe you'll be bypassing the existing module. There should be very detailed instructions in there. If not I can access them or go to www.accel-ignition.com they'll be there too.

BTW, you're not a bother. Don't forget to check the rev limiter on the box, they're normally set at about 4500 from the factory.

Thanks a lot Mark! in case im gonna use the 375+ box that comes with it,should i lock the dist.and adjust timing through the box instead?
