Can anyone recommend a new carburetor for my 1970 442? The engine has a stock intake and W-25 forced air. I think the engine may have a stick shift W30 cam, but it's an automatic 442. I've not had good results with the stock 442 Quadrajet and a modified Q-jet was ultimately installed. But that modified carb is now problematic, so it may need a rebuild or I go to a new set up.

 

With the manifold you have, you're limited to a quadrajet, or more importantly a spreadbore carb. Did our quadrajet run ok until now? Perhaps a rebuild is in order.
