brackets and pulleys 66 400 vs 330

I was just thinking I was going to have to round up all the 400 stuff to "look" year correct for my 455 swap. Looking at my assembly manual it only shows V8 applications. So 330 and 400 use all the same brackets and stuff with a power steering only system?

Also I will be adding A/C using the "Old Air" brand compressor that mounts in original brackets. I have the A/C brackets from a 67 442 so all I need will need is the alternator brackets to move it to the driver side? Is the water pump any different or the same A/C non A/C

The narrow frame on the 64-67 cars requires the PS pump to be mounted high on the driver's side. When A/C is added, the alternator goes in the center of the engine, between the thermostat neck and the PS pump. These brackets are unique to the 65-67 cars. Yes, the 330, 400, and 425 brackets are all the same - as with the later brackets, there are two sets of holes when necessary to accommodate the different deck heights.

thanks joe

If anyone has the alternator bracket set up for a 65-67 with A/C I would like to get it. I have everything else so if I decide to add A/C now I would like to have the parts.

Hello Richard
I've got one off a 1966 that didn't have AC but did have the smog pump for california emissions. I suspect its the same one Joe described. How's $15 plus shipping sound? US Postal Flat Rate would keep it under $30 total. John

Thats more than fair SOLD!!.
Thanks
I could also use a beat up air cleaner top if you have one. Not lik eth eone pictured. The outlet for the non smog is on the driver side. The only part I care about to be in good condition is the snorkel part itself. I need to cut it off to make my own duel snokel air cleaner.

Do you have any more cars with pulleys? Those in the pic wont work I need crank, w/p and P/S from a 400 or 330 with A/C and no smog or 330 without A/C but with H/D cooling with or without smog.

Richard, send me your address in a PM. I may have the pullys, but removed them from the engine last year and put them in a box with other pullys. Can anybody out there provide the numbers? I don't think I can recognize which ones they were. John

I can get you part numbers tonight but I have been told the pulleys are not marked with any numbers.

Know your posts are old, but figured it's worth a shot. I'm also interested in a power steering pump pulley...part # stamped on front, either 384678 JM (preferred original for my 330) or 391061 JP will work. Do you have any pulleys with these numbers? If so and still available, what's your price? Please let me know either way...I'd really appreciate it.

that's funny
when I saw that photo I was going to inquire about the ps pulley... for the above seeker!

for all y'all - please be aware that have a pulleys and water pumps databse so you can figure out things like PN => actual stamping on the the part... or diameter x width... what other mating pulleys are required... which WP is used with the set, what its measurements are... etc. etc. etc.

I do not and have never charged money for this information.
There are probably some inaccuracies, but it's more than "nothing" to go by

I can be reached via e-mail at
rocketscience443@hotmail.com
AFTER REPLACING "443" with the obvious correct number [spam halter technique]

Note please that if you don't put a succinct obvious SUBJECT LINE such as "Olds pulley database needed" then your e-mail may get tossed as junk... I get 40 a day, and only 2-3 are typically real e-mails.
