Came across these yesterday by accident.
Is there anyone building engines like these currently?
A 455 big block olds that can survive at high rpms for extended periods of time would be exactly what i want.
Preferably the hemi variant (looking for ~ 500whp using an automatic transmission with lockup converter) to keep it somewhat simpler.
If not is there something based on a BBC? (Since i got a GM A Body)

Not exotic like that but Rocket Racing has 4 bolt thick main racing siamese BBO block. They even have a compacted graphite iron option.
